Description

The cowhouse located immediately east of Old Newnham dates from the 18th or 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a scantle slate roof with gabled ends. This long, two-storey building has segmental stone arch heads above its openings. The first floor includes loft doors, while the ground floor has stable doors and windows, along with a cart entrance on the left side. This structure is included for its group value.
