Description

Keepers' Cottage is a pair of semi-detached cottages that were originally built as one lodge in a landscaped park. They date from the early 19th century and are constructed of stone rubble with a slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high and feature a layout of 1:3:1 bays, with projecting gabled wings on the left and right sides. The windows are sash style with glazing bars set in exposed cases; the ground floor has flat stone arches, while the first floor has wooden lintels. There are lunettes in the gables, and a central fielded panel door. A brick chimney stack is located over the ridge.
