Description
The cow house, built in the late 18th century, features coursed limestone walls and a clay tile roof with stone slate eaves and gable ends. On the east gable end, there are plank two-leaf loft doors, while the north wall has a renewed stable-type door with a cambered brick arch above it. To the right of this door, there is a fixed window with glazing bars. Inside, the cow house includes drainage channels and an outlet, along with slightly chamfered ceiling beams. Attached to the cow house are rubblestone yard walls with coping stones, extending 20 metres by 15 metres on the north side. This structure is included for its group value with the nearby Holworth Farmhouse.
