Description

Moigne Cottage is a detached cottage dating to the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and random rubblestone walls, with a thatched roof and gable ends. Brick stacks are located at the gable ends. The cottage has two storeys and originally had three windows. The first floor windows are wood casements with 3, 2, and 2 lights respectively, featuring glazing-bars. They have wooden sills and lintels. A C19 flush-panelled front door is located to the right of centre, sheltered by a thatched porch canopy supported on wooden posts. The cottage was originally listed as a house 15 yards southeast of West Farmhouse.
