Description

This 18th-century barn, located approximately 35 meters north-west of Hurstans, is constructed from sandstone rubble and features a roof covered with double Roman tiles. The barn consists of five bays and has a central entrance for the threshing floor, which is flanked by two rows of loops. The gables have raised verges, and inside, there are spur walls on either side of the threshing floor, supported by inclined strut trusses. This barn is part of a group that includes The Wainhouse, located about 25 meters north of Hurstans, and The Stables, which is approximately 20 meters west of Hurstans.
