Description

This barn, located about 180 yards north-east of Hurstley Court, likely dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It features a sandstone rubble plinth and a timber frame covered with weatherboards, topped by a corrugated iron roof. The barn has a rectangular seven-bay layout that runs roughly east to west and consists of two levels. The south elevation includes three ledged doors with strap hinges, along with small openings to the left of the wagon entry, which also has ledged doors. Inside, there are raking strut trusses and a tallet in the western bays.
