Description
Eldson Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, possibly with a 17th-century core. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with brick dressings and has a Welsh slate roof. The building is designed in an H-plan with lateral stacks and a large axial stack, featuring a central entrance. It has two storeys with attics and cellars. The south-east front consists of one bay, three bays, and one bay, with the central range flanked by slightly projecting gabled wings. The windows are glazing bar sash windows, with full-length sash windows on the ground floor. There is a projecting gabled porch with an inner partly-glazed door. The interior is not accessible.
