Description
Firs Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from possibly the 16th to early 17th century, with remodels occurring in the 18th or early 19th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a roof that is partly covered with stone slate and partly with Welsh slate. The building has a rectangular plan oriented east to west, with a central projecting porch on the south front, a main axial stack, and additional gable-end stacks. On the south front, there is a single-storey section to the left of the porch, with a later raised roof on the right-hand section, creating two storeys. To the left of the single-storey section, there are two blocked openings, and to the right, there is a 2-light casement window. The interior was inaccessible during the last survey.
