House. C15, with C17 remodelling, late C19 alterations. Timber-framed with sandstone plinth and part refacing, part wattle-and-daub and part brick infill. Part tiled and part stone slate roof. Two framed bays incorporating part of the earlier house. Aligned south-west/north-east with cross-wing at south-west end, through passage. External lateral stack to cross-wing; later lean-to additions. Single storey and attic. Entrance front: gable end of cross-wing to left with one 3-light casement window. Pair of large 4-pane windows to ground floor, lean-to to left with one small 4-pane window and ledged door and main range to right with one central gabled dormer with a pair of 4-pane casement windows. Three- light casement window to right of ledged door to ground floor. Interior reveals cruck truss towards the north-east gable end with cusped struts and arch-braced to collar with traces of smoke blackening. The C17 wing has chamfered ceiling beams.
