Description

Beverly is a pair of connected cottages dating from the early 18th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and brick panels, although the far cottage has suffered partial destruction. The roofs are covered with concrete tiles, and the far cottage has been raised. Each cottage features external end stacks, with the near cottage having a local-style stack that includes offsets and a detached brick shaft. Both cottages have one storey plus an attic and consist of two bays. They are fitted with regularly placed 20th-century casements and have central entrances from the left. Additionally, the near cottage has another entrance through a 20th-century outshut located immediately to the right of the external stack.
