Description

Bridge Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It has a timber-frame structure with regular square brick infill panels and a continuous tiled roof, featuring a corner stack with a brick shaft. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The windows are 19th-century sashes with six and nine panes. There are two entrances located in the left and centre bays, both accessed through 19th-century ledged doors. The upper floor is lit by windows in the gable ends. The left rear corner of the cottage is obliquely truncated due to the adjacent Malvern - Ledbury railway, which opened around 1860. Additionally, there is a one-storey timber-framed extension at the rear.
