Description
No. 19, High Street is a shop and dwelling with an 18th-century front built onto a 17th-century core. The front is rendered with stucco, and the roof is covered with Welsh slate, featuring a gable facing the front. The building is two storeys high, with an attic and cellar, and has a three-window front. It features 20th-century canted oriels with casement windows. The eaves are moulded and decorated with modillions, extending as a pediment over the gable, which contains a tripartite window with an ogee-headed top and a central sash window. The shopfront is 20th-century, with two recessed, part-glazed doors. This building has group value, contributing to the character of the High Street.
