Description

34 and 35 High Street are late 18th-century shops and dwellings. The buildings are rendered and feature a hipped slate roof, with a central brick ridge stack and a brick end stack on the left. They rise three storeys with a cellar and have a four-window range. The left side has 18th-century 6/6 sash windows in broad beaded cases, while the right side has 19th-century 6/6 sashes in beaded cases, with similar sashes above. The eaves on the left are moulded wood. The early 20th-century shopfronts have a shared central entrance, along with moulded fascia-boards and hoods. There was a former entrance on the right, which is now blocked.
