Description
The Vine Vaults Public House is a building that originally served as a house and is now an inn. It features a 19th-century front that possibly covers an earlier core. The exterior is finished in stucco with a slate roof and has a brick end stack on the right side. The building stands three storeys tall and has a two-window range, with 6/6 sash windows on the lower floor and 3/6 sash windows above. The entrance is located on the left and consists of a 19th-century six-panel door set within a simple moulded architrave, accompanied by an overlight. To the right of the entrance is a 19th-century window with a moulded glazing bar and case. The right side of the building is roughcast and features a buttress stack. At the rear, there is a wing that includes a 18th-century 6/6 sash window in a broad moulded case, with a 19th-century casement window above it. A rubble buttress stack is also present, topped with a 20th-century brick chimney. The building is included for its group value.
