Farmhouse. Probably C17, extended in C18. Timber-frame, render to south elevation, plain tiled roofs, three stacks: one to left, right and centre. L-plan envelops two parallel timber-framed ranges. South elevation: two storey and gable-lit attic, three windows, mid-C20 casements with shutters, central gabled porch with side access from right hand side. Brick lean-to to right, low brick extension to left. Frame: visible to north-west is five panels high from cill to wall-plate. (RCHM, Vol II, p 203).
