Description
26 West Street is a shop and dwelling built in the 18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of painted brick and features old plain tiles on the roof, with a brick ridge stack located on the right side. It has three storeys and a two-window range, showcasing 20th-century 4/4 sash windows in broad cases, along with a central blind opening, all set under gauged brick flat arches. The building also has 3/3 sash windows and another blind opening, with brick modillion eaves. The shop front has been updated in the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
