Description

No. 15, West Street is a late 17th-century shop and dwelling, altered in the 20th century. It is stuccoed with a steep-pitched plain tile roof featuring a gable facing the street; a restored brick stack is located on the right-hand side. The building is three storeys high and has a single window facing the street. This incorporates a 20th-century three-light casement within a moulded frame, and a two-light casement with a similar moulded frame. A 20th-century shop front is present, containing a recessed entrance to the left and a canted plate-glass window. The shop front has a fascia board and a moulded hood with enriched stop-consoles on grooved pilasters. The returned side elevation is roughcast. The interior has not been inspected.
