Description
This building is a barn and adjoining stable, located approximately 20 metres south-east of Brinsop Cottage. It dates from the 17th century or early 18th century and is constructed with a timber frame, featuring a sandstone plinth and weatherboard cladding, along with part woven cleft oak infill. The roof is made of corrugated metal. The barn consists of two framed bays that are aligned north to south, while the single-bay stable, which is at a slightly lower level, is attached to the south. The entrance is located in the central bay and the south bay. The structure includes three square panels extending from the sill to the wall-plate, supported by inclined strut trusses.
