Description

This building is a barn, now used as stables, located 100 meters east of Brockwood House. It dates from the mid-18th century and features a timber frame that is weatherboarded, resting on a brick plinth, with an old plain tiled roof. There are stable doors in the second, fourth, and sixth bays, with windows in the other bays. The roof is half-hipped. Inside, there is a queen strut roof with curved struts and braces connecting to the ties and wallplates. A floor has been inserted at the level of the wallplate.
