Description
The coach house at Woodcote Manor is a building dating from the 17th and 19th centuries. It is constructed of brick and features an old plain tile roof. The coach house is located immediately to the right of the south entrance front of the main house and is positioned at right angles to it. The corners of the buildings are connected by a Dutch gabled archway, which was added in 1911 by architect R. Blomfield.
On one side of the coach house, there are three stables, with a blocked window on the first floor at either side of the central gable, and a dentilled cornice below the gables. The other side features garage doors in two bays and two additional doors, all dating from the late 19th century. At the end of the building nearest the house, there is a late 19th-century octagonal timber cupola topped with a copper-clad dome, which houses a bell. Additionally, on that gable, there is a family crest on a board dated 1886.
