Description

This is a barn located about 10 metres north-west of Brockaly, dating from the 17th century, with some repairs from the late 19th century and mid-20th century. The structure is timber-framed with some wattle infill, covered in weatherboarding and corrugated iron, and sits on a coursed rubble plinth beneath a corrugated iron roof. It features four framed bays arranged in a north/south orientation, with a threshing floor positioned centrally in the three southern bays. The east front includes full-height double doors on the left and a standard ledged and boarded door at the right-hand end. The framing consists of three square panels high.
