Description

Grub Court is a house located in Pembridge, Broxwood, dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century, with some 20th-century alterations. The building features square panelled timber-framing with painted brick infill, a sandstone rubble plinth, and a tiled roof. It has two framed bays that are aligned north to south, with a rear lateral stack and an entrance on the east front. The house is two storeys high and includes a four-pane casement window to the right of a panelled door, which is topped by a late 19th-century gabled canopy. Although the interior has been altered, it still shows evidence of its original timber-framing.
