Description

This is a barn located about 75 metres north of Little Sarnesfield, dating from the 17th century, with some repairs from the late 19th century and mid-20th century. It has a timber-frame structure that is weather-boarded and sits on a coursed rubble plinth, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The barn features four framed bays that are aligned north to south, with a threshing floor situated to the south of the center. The threshing floor is accessible through full-height double doors on the east front and lower doors on the west. The framing consists of three square panels high, with straight tension braces on the gable ends.
