Description
This is a house, likely dating from the 18th century, with alterations and extensions in the early 19th century. It is timber-framed with brick infill, painted and rendered brickwork, and Welsh slate roofs. The roofs have a hip design to the east and north, with brick stacks. The house has a rectangular plan aligned east to west, with a timber-framed wing projecting northwards from the centre.
The south elevation has a 1:2:4:2 window arrangement, with sash windows throughout, except on the right side, where there are two segmentally-headed three-light casements on the ground floor and two early 19th-century two-light casements on the first floor. The ground floor beneath the right side window projection reveals exposed timber framing. There is an entrance on the right side of the elevation and a second entrance to the left of centre, situated beneath a five-bay hipped loggia. The north elevation features a timber-framed, half-hipped projecting wing with five thin panels between the window cills and wall-plates. Two-storey, apsidal bay windows are present on the right side of the wing, each storey featuring three sash windows.
