Description

A farmhouse, likely dating from the late 16th or 17th century, with later alterations from the late 18th and 19th centuries. The house is timber-framed, with some sections encased in brick, and has roofs covered in stone slate, Welsh slate, tile, and concrete tile. The south section has a hipped roof. It is arranged in an H-shape, with a central section running roughly east to west. The south elevation has a 1:2:1 window arrangement, primarily featuring glazing bar sashes. The ground-floor windows have segmental brick heads. A brick plat band runs along the central and right sections, and a brick eaves cornice is present. A polygonal brick porch with a slate roof shelters a 2-light casement window with a glazed door, located to the right of the centre. The north elevation features gable fronts with exposed timber framing, composed of four square panels from the cill to the ties.
