Description

The dovecote and garden wall, located approximately 30 meters north-west of Old Sufton, date from the 18th century, with the wall largely constructed in the 19th century. The dovecote is made of brick and features a slate roof topped with a lantern. It is circular in shape and has an entrance on the west side, with a central lantern above. Inside, the dovecote retains rows of nesting boxes. The garden wall is also made of brick, with part sandstone rubble footings, and includes pilaster buttressing at regular intervals as it steps down the hillside.
