Description
The End House is a 17th-century house that has been altered in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with sections of painted brick and wattle-and-daub refacing, along with a sandstone plinth and sandstone refacing on the southeast gable end. The house has a tiled roof and consists of three framed bays that are aligned northwest to southeast, facing southwest, with a lobby-entry. It is a single storey with an attic, showcasing three gabled half-dormers that contain 2-light casement windows. To the left of the entrance, there are two similar windows beneath a gabled canopy, and a ledged door is located at the entrance, with another ledged door to the right. The framing is largely intact but has been altered, displaying three square panels from the sill to the wall-plate, with bracing from the main post to the wall-plate.
