Description
Lodge Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse that has undergone late 19th-century repairs. It is built of coursed rubble and features a tile roof. The building is L-shaped, with the main range on the west and a subsidiary range to the north. There is a gable-end stack on the east side with a brick chimney.
The south front has two storeys and a gable-lit attic, with a decorative band on each floor. It includes three windows: two 3-light casements flank a fixed casement in the center. The entrance is approached by stone steps and is sheltered by a gabled slated canopy. The entrance features a plain wooden architrave with a blocked 4-pane over-light and a ledged and boarded door from the 18th century. Above the ground and first floors, there are five terminals of tie-rods.
