Description
Croft Lodge is a house built in the early 19th century, with some additions made in the mid-20th century. It features coursed rubble construction with brick dressings and a hipped slate roof. The house has lateral stacks on the rear (north) wall. The south front has two storeys and an attic, which is illuminated by a radially glazed lunette in a roughcast gable. There is a dentilled brick cornice along the top. The front has five windows, all of which are boxed 16-pane sashes fitted with mid-20th century louvred shutters. The ground floor windows have segmental brick heads. The central entrance includes a 2-pane overlight above a panelled door.
