Description

The terrace wall to the south and west of Croft Castle dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of coursed rubble. It consists of two sections of wall that meet at right angles, featuring a quadrant corner and two square bastions. The wall stands approximately 1.5 metres high and is topped with a crenellated parapet and a battered plinth that is capped by a roll moulding. Croft Castle is a property managed by the National Trust.
