Description

Lucton Hall is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with later 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of ashlar with a slate roof, and has gable-end stacks. The house has chamfered quoins, a moulded cornice and stone-coped verges. It is two storeys high, built on a cellar. There are five windows on each floor, all with four-pane sashes and recessed sash boxes, each under a wedge lintel with a keystone. The central entrance has a wooden doorcase with fluted Doric pilasters supporting a shallow flat canopy on consoles. Above the door is an overlight, and the door is half-glazed. The interior of the entrance hall features some reset 17th-century panelling.
