Description

Beacon Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse, restored in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed and dressed rubble stone with a tile roof and has two large stone chimney stacks. The building comprises three ranges with gabled sections running north-south, and two cross gables on the eastern range. The farmhouse has three storeys and three windows, featuring 19th-century three-, two-, and three-light stone-mullion windows with leaded lights. These windows have moulded architraves and lintels. A central gabled porch has a Cotswold stone-slate roof and coped gables, incorporating a Tudor arch and a 20th-century half-glazed door.
