Description

The Manor House is a detached house dating from the late 17th century, with restoration work carried out in the 20th century. It is constructed of rubble stone with a roof of Cotswold stone slates, featuring two stone stacks and a gable saddle stone on the right-hand side. The house is arranged in an L-shape with two storeys and an attic. There are three windows on the front elevation, each with two lights and plain chamfered stone mullions, fitted with leaded iron casements and square hoodmoulds. The ground floor has two similar two-light windows to the left, and a three-light window to the right, with a gabled porch situated between these windows. The porch has a cross saddle stone on its gable and a coat of arms inset above the plain opening. The doorway itself has chamfered jambs and lintel, leading to a plain boarded door.
