Ice House, immediately west of Mill Cottage

Icehouse. Probably C18 or early C19. Red brick. Circular on plan with brick dome and tapered towards base inside. Rectangular opening on west side of dome. The earth covering has been removed exposing the dome. Situated in garden of and immediately west of Mill Cottage but probably originally served Heath House (qv.). The source of the ice would have been from a small lake to the south.
