Description

BRILLEY CP - SO 24 NE 5/12 Barn and stable about 20 yards north-east of Litte Pentre-Coed and adjoining outbuilding GV II Barn and stable. Probably C17, altered late C20. Timber-framed and weatherboarded on rubble base with some rubble walling and corrugated metal roof. Four bays aligned north-west/south-east. Barn occupies three south- easternmost bays and has a central wagon bay with opposed cart entries and corrugated metal doors. There are two blocked raking-top dormers on the north-east side. Stable occupies north-west bay and is slightly lower in height. It has a ledged and battened door on the north-east side and a loft door at the north-west end. Interior not accessible at time of survey. (July 1986). The barn is situated close to Little Pentre-Coed and adjoining outbuilding (qv). Included for group value.
