Description

Pool Head Cottage is a 17th or early 18th century cottage. It is timber-framed with a thatched roof, notable for its prominent, tapering chimney stack to the gable ends. The cottage is one storey and has an attic, featuring two 20th-century casement windows. A brick projecting lobby serves as the entrance, located to the right of the centre. The principal stack includes a bread oven on the left side, and a lean-to outshut to the right, which incorporates the stairs.
