It features a thatched roof with both gabled and hipped ends, and an internal brick chimney stack located in the gable end. The cottage is one storey high with an attic, which includes a small dormer at the eaves level. There are two windows, which are 19th century casements, and a plank door that is positioned off centre. Additionally, there is a modern lean-to on the south end of the building.
