Description
This is an 18th-century range of cottages located south of the house occupied by Mr. Betts in Fritton. The cottages feature a combination of plastered timber-frame, clay lump, and painted brick construction. They have steep pantile roofs with gabled ends. The southern end of the building has a slightly lower roof, while the northern end includes a gabled cross wing. The structure is two storeys high with an attic and presents a long façade with five windows. It has four dormers with catslide roofs, along with 19th and 20th-century casement windows and plank doors. There is an off-centre brick chimney stack, another stack at the junction with the cross wing, and an external stack at the southern end.
