Description

Oak Tree Cottage is a small house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, originally constructed with a timber frame and subsequently plastered. It has a steep pantile roof with gabled ends, and an internal brick chimney stack located near the south end. The house is one storey high with an attic, featuring an attic window at eaves level. The windows are 19th and 20th century casements, and there's a plank door. A later 19th or 20th century extension, one bay wide, is set on the north end and is plastered, with an attic dormer having a catslide roof.
