Description

Fritton Hall is a 16th and 17th century timber-frame house, originally plastered. It has a steep pegtile roof with gabled ends. The house is two storeys high with an attic, featuring attic windows in the gable end. Later 19th-century casement windows are present. A 17th-century timber-frame wing extends to the north-west, forming an L-shaped plan. This wing is plastered, has a pegtile roof, and a brick wall with a stepped gable featuring corbelled brick kneelers, blue brick diapering, and horizontal zigzags. It also contains an internal brick stack. The wing has two storeys and a two-window range with 19th-century casements. A late 19th-century brick porch is situated in the angle of the two wings.
