6/30 Barn and cowhouses about 15 metres south-east of Black Hall

GV II

Barn and cowhouses. C17, with some late C19 repairs. Timber-frame, weather- boarded on a coursed rubble plinth with corrugated iron roof. Nine framed bays aligned north/south, the four to the south forming the barn with threshing floor to north of centre. West front has large double doors to barn threshing floor on right, to left three boarded loft doors with strap hinges and six entrances with boarded doors hung on strap hinges. Framing: three square panels high retaining a little of the original woven infill.
