Description

A house, likely dating from the early 18th century, with remodelling in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of brick with a slate roof. The south front is three stories high and features deep boarded eaves and horizontal bands to the ground and first floors. A full-height canted bay window is located on the left, followed by a symmetrical arrangement of two windows, then two more, all with glazing bar sashes beneath rubbed brick heads. The two windows on the right are set slightly higher than the others. The second floor has two windows and a single window, all with 9 panes, the rightmost window set beneath a brick gable. The ground floor windows are similar to those above, with the main entrance positioned to the left of centre. The entrance is sheltered by a flat canopy with a moulded cornice supported on fluted Greek Doric columns. The entrance surround consists of a moulded wooden architrave and a two-leaf, half-glazed door. The interior has not been inspected.
