Description

The Harbour is a house dating from the 17th century, with some alterations made in the mid-20th century. It features a timber frame with painted brick infill and a tile roof. The building consists of two framed bays that are aligned east to west, with a gable-end stack located at the west end. The garden front, facing south, has one storey with an attic that is illuminated by two gabled dormers. To the right of the centre entrance, there are two square 20th-century oriel windows, while a 2-light casement window is positioned to the left. The entrance is sheltered by a gabled and slated canopy supported by plain wooden brackets. The framing of the house consists of three square panels in height. The gable trusses include three struts to the collar, V-struts at the apex, and trenched purlins.
