Description
The Mary Evans memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 3 meters south of the chancel doorway of the Church of St Deinst. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The tomb features a moulded plinth and capping, with a rectangular fielded inscription panel that is flanked by heavy balusters topped with gadrooned capping. It commemorates Mary, the wife of Enoch Evans, who died in 1784.
