Description
This is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 7 metres southeast of the southeast corner of the Church of St Mary. It dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century and is made of sandstone. The tomb features a flat top with a chamfered edge and bolstered ends. The north side displays the date 1812, while the east end has an inscription dedicated to the daughter of Sarah Evans, who passed away in 1828. The design of the monument suggests it may be slightly older than 1812.
