Description

The Evans chest tomb, located in the churchyard of St. Mary's Church, was built in 1819 and is made of colourwashed limestone. It features recessed corner pilasters on a moulded base and a moulded top. The sides of the tomb are adorned with oval panels in light relief, which include an inscription dedicated to Richard Evans and his family. Additionally, the tomb has carved spandrels. It is situated 9 metres south of the church tower.
