Description
The Southbrook Public House is a farmhouse that has been converted into a public house. It dates from the late 18th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The building is constructed of limestone coursed rubble and features a tiled and corrugated asbestos cement Mansard roof with two dormers. There is a brick stack located at the centre right and another on the right gable. The structure is two storeys high with attics and consists of five bays, along with a single-storey flat-roofed extension for the entrance and restrooms. Additionally, there is a 20th-century rear lean-to. The windows are tripartite 12-pane sashes with stone lintels. The interior of the building is not of special interest.
