Description

35, 37, and 39 Bargates are cottages dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. They are constructed of painted brick and topped with a Welsh slate roof, featuring a 20th-century brick ridge stack. The buildings are two storeys high and form a four-window range. The windows include 19th-century casements and, in the centre right, an 18th-century casement set in an oak frame.

On the left side, there is a 20th-century plank door leading to a passage, alongside a 20th-century panelled door flanked by 19th-century two-over-two sash windows. The brickwork features segmental arches, and there is a 20th-century panelled door beneath an altered brick arch. To the left of this door, there is an 18th-century light with a casement in an oak frame under a segmental arch. Additionally, there is a 19th-century half-glazed door with a simple flat hood and plain architrave, along with a 19th-century sliding sash window, both set under brick segmental arches. The interiors have not been inspected.
