Description

The Cottage is a house dating to the 17th century, although it was significantly altered in the 20th century. The house is timber-framed and completely rendered, sitting on a sandstone rubble plinth. It has a Welsh slate roof. The original layout comprised three bays aligned east to west, with an end stack and a central entrance. The house has two storeys, featuring three 3-light casement windows on the upper floor, one similar casement on the ground floor to the left, and a 2-light window to the right of the entrance. A lean-to porch shelters a 20th-century ledged door, which itself has a 2-light casement window. The building is included in the list for group value.
