Description

Virginia Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with some alterations made in the mid-20th century. It features a timber-frame structure with rendered infill beneath a slate roof. The building consists of two framed bays oriented north to south. The south gable is made of rubble and includes a chimney stack with a brick shaft. The east front has one storey and a gable-lit attic. There are two 20th-century windows flanking an entrance that is located to the right of centre. The entrance has a 20th-century gabled canopy and a half-glazed door. The framing consists of two square panels topped by a rectangular panel.
